Itinerary:
1st
day. MADRID –MEDINA DEL CAMPO- ASTORGA - LUGO
Departure from our BUS TERMINAL: Parking
Oriente Sq., at 9.00 a.m.
Drive through Villacastin to arrive in Medina del Campo where we can admire the
castle of La Mota. After we proceed to Astorga with an important monument
designed by Gaudi: The Archbishop Palace in neo-gothic style. Free time for
lunch (not included) Early in the afternoon we will continue our way to Lugo,
town keeping with an impressive and well preserved Roman Wall declared a World
Heritage monument. Overnight.
2nd
day. LUGO - A CORUÑA
Breakfast and departure to A Coruña. Panoramic tour of this beautiful city with
a stop in Hercules Tower, considered the oldest lighthouse in the world that
offer a breathtaking view over the sea. Afternoon free. Overnight.
3rd
day. A CORUÑA - SANTIAGO
Breakfast. Departure to Santiago one of the most famous Pilgrimage center for
Christians. City tour includeing Santiago's jewel: The romantic cathedral as
well as the University colleges, time to wanter around the narrow streets called
"ruas". Afternoon
free.
4th
day. SANTIAGO - RIAS BAJAS - LA TOJA - VIGO
Breakfast and departure to the charming gallician Rías Bajas and La Toja
Island famous for its thermal baths. Time at leisure. Departure to Vigo. Overnight.
5th
day. VIGO - OPORTO - COIMBRA - FATIMA
Breakfast and departure to Oporto where an important wine cellar will be
visited. (Lunch not included.) Departure to Coimbra and panoramic sightseeing,
proceeding to Fatima. Arrive in the early afternoon . Possibily to pay a visit
to the Chapel and the Apparition Church of this important Pilgrimage center. Overnight.
6th
day. FATIMA - BATALHA - OBIDOS - LISBON
Breakfast and departure. Visit of the Monastery in Batalha, proceeding to Obidos.
Stop for lunch.
(Lunch not included.) Departure to Lisbon. Overnight.
7th
day. LISBON
Breakfast. Morning panoramic sightseeing tour driving along the main avenu:
Liberdade, Marques de PombalSquare, Monument to the old Portuguese discoverers,
Belem Tower, Jeromos Monastery etc. In the afternoon,
optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.
8th
day. LISBON
Breakfast and overnight. Full day at leisure.
Breakfast. Departure to Mérida and visit of the Roman Theatre. Departure to Madrid in order to arrive in our BUS TERMINAL.
